Aton Resources is the longest standing exploration company with an exclusive focus on Egypt. Abu Marawat Concession is located in the Arabian Nubian Shield, one of the world’s last gold mining frontiers
District-scale potential, the Abu Marawat Exploration Lease is 57.7 sq. km in size, and Aton has also retained a further 255.0 sq. km of highly prospective exploration ground
Contains the Hamama, Rodruin and Abu Marawat deposits, as well as the recently drilled high-grade Semna gold mine discovery
Located in an area of excellent infrastructure
THE PLAN
Following the award of the exploitation lease covering the Hamama and Abu Marawat deposits, the Company will push ahead with the early development of the Hamama West deposit. Mining will start with a starter open pit on the gold oxide cap of the deposit, with processing via a heap leach treatment route
Continued advancement of the Rodruin and Abu Marawat mineral deposits
Continue an aggressive programme of regional exploration, including a second phase programme of diamond drilling at Semna, as well as further RC drilling at our other regional targets, with the objective of bringing many of these areas into the exploitation lease by 2027 at the latest
Actively pursue discussions with potential strategic partners to advance the above aims
